This song is based on the real events in my life. Except the very last part, for legal reasons.
The song’s title (and the first line of the chorus) is taken from the homonymous song by Steve Earle.
As on my previous singles, you get to enjoy Ethan Tilbury (@ethantilbury) on the upright bass and Diana Herrera (@zafdii) behind the drums, both also lent me their backing vocals for the chorus. The song was recorded and mixed by Andy Dmytryshyn (@nailshitter) of the School House Studios in Hamilton, Ontario, and mastered by Jamie King (@machinejk76).
